Church Calendar announcements may be submitted to the Herald by mail, ATTENTION:
CHURCH CALENDAR OF ANNOUNCEMENTS, by phone (764-9031) or hand-delivered to the office. Because the length of our church calendar is determined by the amount of space available, not every item submitted will appear. Your item may start out at the bottom, but will move to the top as the date of the event nears. Items in the church calendar are printed free of charge. Sometimes we may not be able to publish your announcement as specified. If your announcement must be printed on specific days or worded in a specific way, it needs to be Items submitted for ongoing events will run two weeks and may be resubmitted every three months.

HIS MAJESTY’S Daughter’s will meet Saturday at the Honey Bowen Building, Max Lockwood Drive, beginning at 9:15 a.m. Program: “Celebrate Jesus.”

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT Giveaway will be held Saturday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Railroad Street, Brooklet.

Sunday
SERVICE will be held Sunday at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Statesboro, Cypress Lake Road, beginning at 10:30 a.m. A program of Christmas music will be led by Eric Stetson, music director, and the choir. Religious ed classes for children are provided concurrent with program. For more information visit www.uustatesboro.org.

VISITORS’ APPRECIATION Program will be held Sunday at Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Arthur Kelley as guest speaker. Refreshments will be served.

ANNUAL CANDLELIGHT Service will be held Sunday at Historical First African Baptist Church beginning at 6 p.m. with Pastor Robert Solomon of Savannah as speaker.

MIDWEEK ADVENT Service will be held Dec. 13 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, corner of Fair Road and the bypass, beginning at 7 p.m. A soup and sandwich dinner will be served at 6 p.m.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS Program will be held Dec. 16 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, Railroad Street, Brooklet, beginning at 5 p.m.
